Being a Colorado engagement photographer is such a blessing! There are always so many amazing locations to take engagement photos! Brainard Lake is a new favorite of mine! With the lake and mountains in the background you can’t go wrong! The down side of this location is it’s a wild ride to get there with no service and it’s only open June-October, but it’s such a stunning location with a hour drive or so from Denver that I love to refer my couples to during the summer months! The views are honestly hard to beat.
Taylor and Austin live in Oklahoma, but had a Colorado destination wedding at Sanctuary Golf course. (blog coming soon!) I am so honored and blessed they chose me as their Colorado engagement photographer. They came to Denver for the weekend to work on wedding planning and of course take engagement photos. Not only are they super sweet, but SO funny and entertaining! Like most of my couples, they opted for a dressy outfit and a casual outfit. They couldn’t have been any better! A flowy dress and a cute casual outfit with a hat are my love languages. You wouldn’t know by the look of these photos that it was a VERY windy and cold day! There might have been a time or two where her hat flew off 🙃 but we pushed through. These two totally rocked it out of the park and the outcome was stunning!
