There’s just something magical about fall in Colorado, especially when you pair golden trees, a flowing river, soft evening light, and a couple completely in love. This Colorado fall engagement session was truly one of those evenings that reminded me exactly why I love being a Colorado wedding photographer so much.
From the second we arrived at the river, everything felt perfect. The crisp fall air, the colorful leaves lining the water, and the dreamy glow coming through the trees created the most beautiful backdrop for these two. Every direction we turned looked like it belonged in a movie scene.
A Perfect Fall Engagement Session in Colorado
Fall engagement sessions in Colorado are always stunning, but this one felt extra special. The trees were showing off every shade of gold and amber, while the river added so much movement and texture to the photos. Meanwhile, the soft lighting gave everything that romantic, glowy feel couples dream about for their engagement photos.
Not only was the scenery incredible, but this couple made the session so effortless. They were playful, laid back, and completely comfortable together, which always creates the most natural photos. In between the posed moments were the little laughs, forehead kisses, and quiet moments that honestly end up being my favorites to capture.
Counting Down to Their Wedding Day
After spending the evening with these two, I’m already counting down the days until their wedding. If their engagement session was this beautiful, I already know their wedding day is going to be absolutely incredible.
Colorado truly showed off for this fall river engagement session, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening, location, or couple to photograph.
