Wow! I don’t think I’ll ever get over this Copper Mountain Wedding day! It’s been such an honor getting to know Rachel and Aaron as a couple and photograph their stunning Colorado destination wedding! They were set to have their Copper Mountain Wedding in summer of 2020 and had to reschedule for 2021. As hard as it was to wait a full year, this day just didn’t disappoint! I grew up about 20 minutes from Copper Mountain, so this wedding just hit home for me!
We were blessed with such a gorgeous blue bird mountain day! We started the day at their amazing Airbnb for details and getting ready photos. When I pulled up and saw the chairlift as the front porch swing, I just know we’d use it for photos of Rachel and her girls! If that doesn’t scream a mountain wedding, then I don’t know what does! After that, we headed to the Copper Mountain ski hill area for their first look, portraits, and bridal party photos before the ceremony. It’s always such a relief for couples to do a first look and get the majority of their photos out of the way before the ceremony.
Their ceremony took place at the bottom of the ski hill and their reception venue overlooked the mountain. It was nothing short of stunning! Add in their pops of light blue colors and greenery and my photographer heart could have exploded. When I say I’m so honored to be a part of these celebrations with the best couples I could ask for, I truly mean it!
It won’t take much scrolling to see why I’m so obsessed with this couple and this wedding!
