When Erin first reached out to me for her Buena Vista wedding at The Barn at Sunset Ranch, I was SO excited!! I ALWAYS am, but my excitement was through the roof, because you guys, this is my HOME TOWN! I can’t even explain what it felt like to be back there, doing what I love! And this mountain backdrop? Just jaw dropping! It’s definitely something I did not appreciate one bit growing up in the mountains. I never knew what the big deal was since I saw them every single day of my life. But now as an adult? Just like everyone else, I just love them!
10.10.2020. The most inquired date ever, and Shane and Erin were the lucky ones to snag it up! 🎉 Just like every other couple in 2020, they planned their Buena Vista wedding through a pandemic with so much uncertainty. Even through all of the COVID planning, the day couldn’t have been more perfect! In true Buena Vista fashion, there was some wind, but nothing we couldn’t handle. (aka-I’ve photographed in just about every kind of weather!)
Shane and Erin decided on a couple of details that I LOVED, one being a prayer with his grandma and grandpa. They didn’t want to see each other until the ceremony so the hid behind doors and all 4 held hands during the sweetest prayer! Another detail I loved was the champagne pop at the end of the aisle! 🥂
The Barn at Sunset Ranch is the cutest rustic barn venue with the best mountain views you could possibly ask for…all in the cutest little small town! It was the biggest honor photographing their amazing wedding and I’m so excited to share it with you all!!
