I honestly feel like the luckiest Denver wedding photographer on the planet. I am blessed to work with the BEST couples time and time again, and these two are no exception! And their outfits? All the heart eyes! I’m not sure what it is about photographing white, but it always looks so gorgeous on camera! Most of my couples choose a dressier outfit then a more casual outfit. Both of their were so perfect! Mckenna and Derek’s engagement session was so beautiful with the most gorgeous light. She also took one of my favorite engagement session tips and got her makeup professionally done by one of my favorites Sabrina Deemer Makeup. Doesn’t she look amazing? I have A LOT of tips when it comes to your engagement session and wedding. I have done this a time or two. 😉 It makes my photographer heart so happy when my couples choose to take my tips and include them in their wedding planning. Not only do they make for aesthetically pleasing photos (that’s ALWAYS the goal,) but also more fun and stress free days. Professional makeup is one of those things that makes you feel good and confident. It radiates in the camera as well.
Being a Denver wedding photographer, I’d say a mountain backdrop is definitely the most popular option my couples choose. With views like this I can’t blame them. It has the perfect mix of mountain backdrop with pine trees. This may look like we are deep into the mountains, but actually, this favorite location is right outside of Denver!
