I am SO excited I started offering legacy albums this year and I’m literally obsessed with them! Having digital images is amazing (hello Instagram!) but having a printed keepsake that tells a visual story of your wedding day is PRICELESS!!
I’m not a photography business that pushes product sales at all. And in the past, I didn’t even offer these. However, I know these albums are important not just for my couples to have… but for their children, and future grandchildren to enjoy as well. And I like to do things how I would want them if I was a bride. Did you know that 70-80% of couples who start a DIY album NEVER finish it? That’s 70-80% of children and grand-children that never see their parents or grandparents heirloom.
Why Invest?
Your first decision as an engaged couple is to set priorities for your wedding planning. You have to decide what you value most. Is it the dress? The food? The Venue? As a bride AND photographer, I believe that couples should make their photography a top priority. After the big day is over, you will leave your reception with a spouse & your pictures…. that’s it! All of that planning and preparation is over in a matter of hours! So if you’re choosing to invest in high quality photography, those images deserve a classy, elegant home after the wedding. I offer high end, leather bound Legacy Albums for my wedding clients. The images are printed straight onto the pages and the covers are wrapped with top grain leather or linen. This is the perfect ending to The Wedding Experience and it’s a keepsake that you will be showing your children and grandchildren one day!
The experience
I’m a girl on a mission, and I’m going to be real for a minute. I don’t just want my couples to have good marriages, I want them to have GREAT marriages! I’ve heard time and time again that looking back at images have saved marriages. You might think that might sound dramatic, but it’s the truth! When the days are hard (they do come,) you sit on your couch and look back at your wedding album and remember where it all started. You remember the look on your husbands face when he first saw you as a bride. You remember the tears and laughter while celebrating with those you love most. For me, it doesn’t just end the day I deliver you your magazine worthy gallery (although that does happen,) it’s about your marriages that I get to love and support. From your engagement session, to the wedding day, to watching your babies grow. I want you to look at your images with a reason to celebrate your love everyday! I want to provide you with a way to proudly put the day you finally married your best friend on DISPLAY! Every anniversary I want you to have a tradition of pouring your favorite drink, sharing a charcuterie board, and looking through your wedding album while reminiscing about the day you married your best friend!
