Tucked into the foothills just outside of Denver, The Woodlands is one of Colorado’s most scenic and modern wedding venues. With clean white interiors, dramatic mountain views, and tons of natural light, it’s a dream location for any season—and a photographer’s paradise.

Stephanie and Brandon’s summer wedding day was filled with sunshine, happy tears, and endless laughter. The energy was contagious from the moment I arrived, and it stayed high all the way through the dance floor sendoff.

From Engagement to Wedding Day: A Photographer’s Dream Couple

These two were a joy from the very beginning. Their fall engagement session was full of golden leaves, cozy outfits, and sweet moments—and their wedding felt like the perfect continuation of that same love story. Color Palette Goals: Their cool blue tones were elegant yet playful, woven into everything from the florals to the bridesmaids’ dresses to Brandon’s epic Nike kicks.

The Groom’s Style Moment: Yep—blue Nike sneakers. Brandon brought his love of sneakers into the spotlight in the best way, and I loved capturing that fun twist on tradition.

First Look Feels: Their emotional first look in front of the iconic Woodlands white barn was such a beautiful moment. It gave them time to connect before the ceremony and made for some of my favorite photos of the day.

Golden Hour Glow: The soft light at sunset gave us the most stunning portrait session—complete with mountain backdrops and lots of laughter.
