A winter Colorado wedding is nothing short of magical! It won’t take you long to find out why! A lot of couples would change their ceremony to indoors during the winter, but not Aubrey and Cody, and it made for such gorgeous photos! I’ll stand outside in the cold snow any day for images like these!
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know Woodlands Colorado is one of my favorite Colorado venues! Aubrey and Cody had a lot of unknown leading up to their wedding day due to Covid as well as a smaller guest list, but the day couldn’t have been more magical! Colorado decided to have a snow storm on their wedding day as well. Snow adds so much magic to the day and photos that can’t be described.
Winter Colorado weddings are so magical!
I arrived at Aubrey’s getting ready location to get some getting ready photos and walked into the most beautiful scene! She was getting her final hair and makeup done and I started their details. Of course no getting ready photos are complete without a fun champagne pop! In true December wedding fashion, the girls got ready in buffalo plaid shirts and were so cute to go with their winter theme!
Aubrey and Cody had the sweetest first look in the snow. He handed her a rose and had the cutest reaction to seeing his bride for the first time! After the first look we were able to do GORGEOUS photos of them in the snow followed by the bridal party photos all before the ceremony even started. That’s one of the amazing things about doing a first look! Double the photos! After the ceremony we continued in the snow with some more photos and warming up with some hot chocolate from their hot chocolate bar. That’s a must if you ask me for a Winter Colorado wedding!
