As a photographer, there are places I dream about photographing at, and a Piney River Ranch wedding has been at the top of my list! I was over the moon when Hawaii wedding planners, Platinum Weddings, reached out to me to photograph this gorgeous intimate wedding. They were amazing to work with and planned this whole gorgeous Piney River Ranch wedding all the way from Hawaii. They were also there on the wedding day to make sure everything was designed perfectly and the day ran smoothly. Every little detail fit the couple perfectly from their gorgeous ceremony floral installation to their stunning reception space. These photos might just leave your jaw on the floor.
These views just can’t be beat! The lake with the canoes and the mountains in the background is just jaw dropping. If you haven’t been, It’s quiet the treck to get up to Piney River, but it’s so worth it! The bumpy and winding dirt road is only about 10 miles, but it takes 45 minutes to get up there.
I knew this wedding was going to be a dream to photograph, but the highlight of the day was truly the love that these two shared. They wanted a gorgeous, intimate, CO destination wedding with their closest friends and family, and that’s exactly what they got. Every minute was full of fun, laughter, and sweet moments that made this wedding beyond perfect. From the perfect weather, to the perfect venue, it’s a day I’ll always look back fondly on! I can’t help but feel incredibly blessed to photograph days like these, and I don’t take it lightly.
