Being a Colorado wedding photographer is the biggest blessing! I get to work with the best couples, in the best locations, on the best day of their lives. Even in the midst of COVID this year, it was still one of my busiest summers and fall, and for that I’m so thankful! I will be blogging them all soon, but for now, I’m SO EXCITED to finally share this gorgeous Woodlands Colorado wedding. I knew from the very start that this was going to be an amazing day! The couple, the venue (aka one of my favorite CO wedding venues,) amazing vendors, and of course the sweetest couple. Valerie was the most calm, happy, and gorgeous bride and their entire day was so fun and stress free, just how it should be! They opted for a first look which allowed them to have DOUBLE the amount of portraits of the two of them! I know a first look isn’t for everybody, but if you decide to have one, I know you won’t regret it! Not only did they end up with so many amazing bride and groom portraits, but also had a nice quiet time to see each other for the first time.
I love all parts of a wedding day being a Colorado wedding photographer, but photographing the details sets the whole tone for the day. Valerie had the most amazing details, including her sparkly Jimmy Choo shoes and sparkly pink Keds for the reception. The most common detail item missing for me to photograph is usually the invitation suite. If you have an extra one I highly recommend bringing it for me to photograph. It’s the very start of the wedding experience for your wedding guests and I want to document your full day! If you’re looking for some inspiration for your wedding, look no further than this gorgeous Colorado wedding!
