The Importance of Your Engagement Session | Colorado Wedding Photographer

I get asked all the time if the complimentary engagement session can be taken out of my wedding package, and in short, yes, but I always go on to explain the importance of the engagement session to all of my couples. My goal for every engagement session is to make all of my #rothcouples feel comfortable in the camera and have FUN!! You know you’re doing your job when many of the men say how much fun it was! 👍

To “nuzzle” with your future husband, laugh together, and have fun with your photographer! And bonus, you’re all dressed up, so go on a date night after! This is how I want all of my couples to feel about their engagement session. Get the nerves out!! 

I get it, you’re not sure what to expect and might be a little nervous. It might be uncomfortable to be in front of a camera at first because it’s not something you do everyday, but I promise that within 5 minutes you’ll feel at ease and will be having fun! Your engagement session is the perfect opportunity for us to meet and get to know each other better. I always like to say that the engagement session is the best practice for your wedding day, and you’ll feel like pros on your big day rather than nervous!

Learn the Core Poses!!

Most of the time couples are nervous for their engagement session because they aren’t sure how to pose and what to do. Most people aren’t sure how to pose themselves in the most flattering positions while still interacting and having fun with their man. That’s where I come in! I get to teach and guide you through my posing process so that you LOVE your images and look like models! All you have to do is show up looking your best and leave the rest to me!!

Get Amazing Photos of the Two of You!! 

Having tons and tons of amazing professional photos of the two of you that you go wild for is something so special and doesn’t happen everyday. These are the photos that will be in frames on your desk at work, that everyone stops to ask about. They are the ones that Grandma wants to print for her photo albums.  Mom wants one to hang on the wall. Most likely, one of them will become your ‘Save the Date’ and your new Facebook profile picture. They’re just simply special, and photos that you and your families will cherish for years to come.
